18 New Jersey Restaurants Where Dads Can Treat This Father’s Day

Father’s Day is almost here, which means it’s time to start making plans if you haven’t already.

A number of restaurants in New Jersey are celebrating the holidays with various specials and offers. Here are some ways to have dinner with Dad this Father’s Day.

In Point Pleasant, Red Bank, Bayville, North Brunswick and Toms River, specials include a burger with bacon jam and maple-glazed pork belly. There’s a New York Steak in Point Pleasant and a Prime Butcher Box in Red Bank ($285, feeds up to eight people). Orders for the Butcher Box are due Wednesday, June 15 at 12 p.m.

A free dad shot is offered at this Bergen County establishment. For dinner only, dads can indulge in a free Pani Puri shot, a twist on classic South Asian street food with fried flatbread and a spicy, flavorful broth. The menu includes Indian specialties and the restaurant is open from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Chef James Avery prepares a special three-course prime rib dinner in one of the New Jersey Monthlythe best restaurants in Asbury Park this Father’s Day. The menu includes wedge salad, French onion soup, roasted Brussels sprouts, mashed potatoes, cheesecake and the star of the show, slow roasted prime rib with horseradish sauce , juice. Martinis and Manhattans will only cost $10.

For Father’s Day weekend, owner Morgan Falasca pays tribute to her grandfather and father with a special “Dan the Man” cookie cake. The treat includes sea salt, caramel and pretzel. The $32 special is available for pre-order – in-store pickup only.

A barbecue-inspired Father’s Day menu is available for brunch (11am-3pm) and dinner (5pm-9pm). All entrees, including sticky Vietnamese ribs, grilled portobello steak, hot brisket and wings, are served with cornbread. Other sides include tomato and watermelon salad, coleslaw and more. On the libations side, there are special local beers and a signature cocktail, the One Hit Wonder (cherry whiskey, coffee, black walnut bitters).

From 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., The Grill Room is hosting brunch and a la carte lunch and dinner on Father’s Day. The menu includes an Italian omelette, spinach salad with cranberries, rib eye, surf and turf, and more. Reservations required.

Treat Dad to a day at Hawk Haven, with specials including wine flights and bundle deals. The Father’s Day Wine Bundle includes two Hawk Haven wines (2013 Quill and 2010 White Port) and can be paired with their treats and chocolates. The winery hosts food trucks and live music on Saturday and Sunday of Father’s Day weekend.

From Culinary Director Vipul Gupta comes a new menu for Father’s Day. Brunch includes chicken tariwala kukkad, smoked baingan bhartha, tres leches rasmalai and more. Brunch costs $24.95 per person. The garden area is open for lunch and dinner.

Treat yourself to brunch and dinner on Father’s Day. Brunch is served from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and dinner from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. Father’s Day specials include lobster-stuffed filet mignon and a smoker platter with brisket marmalade, pulled pork, chipotle chicken wings and more.

From June 13 to 19, this bakery-café offers a special Cheers to Dad cake. The dessert, in the shape of a beer mug, consists of a vanilla cake filled with cream, crispy chocolate pearls and cubes of vanilla cake. The cake is available for pre-order and pick-up or delivery. New Jersey locations include Fort Lee, Edison, Ridgefield and more.

A special à la carte menu is prepared by Chef Cesar Cardenas for Father’s Day, available from 3pm to 9pm. Dishes include crispy salt and vinegar crisps, spinach dip, coffee-encrusted NY strip, Faroese roast salmon, butter cake and more. Reservations suggested.

With a modern Latin menu, Son Cubano cooks up a celebration of Father’s Day. A three-course menu for brunch and dinner is available for $75 per person, from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Guests can dine outside on the terrace (weather permitting) and enjoy live music.

For Father’s Day home grilling, customers can order filet mignon, striploin steak, burgers, wagyu and more. For $169, the butcher’s box includes sausage links, pork chops, flat iron steak, tenderloin, meatballs, marinara, and burgers with fixings. The Grand Butcher Box adds a Porterhouse steak, wagyu flat irons and wagyu strips ($339). All orders must be placed by Thursday, June 16.
