2023 Schedule Released – Stanford University Athletics

STANFORD, Calif. – Stanford Women’s Gymnastics announced its 2023 schedule Thursday, featuring three meets inside the Maples Pavilion and five meets televised by the Pac-12 Network. The Cardinal will appear in 10 regular season meetings during the 2023 season and is expected to meet 12 opponents throughout his campaign.

Stanford opens its home roster with a doubleheader at Maples Pavilion on Jan. 14 at 1 p.m. against non-conference opponent San Jose State.

The Cardinal hits the road in their next two competitions, taking on Arizona State on Jan. 20 at 7:30 p.m. in Tempe, Ariz., and California on Jan. 28 in Berkeley, Calif. The Big Meet game with the Golden Bears begins at 2 p.m. and is scheduled to be televised on Pac-12 networks.

Stanford returns home Feb. 4 for a fight with the Arizona Wildcats, scheduled for a 6 p.m. start. After the quick return to The Farm, the Cardinal takes a break from conference action on February 11 to compete in the Metroplex Challenge with expected competitors from Oklahoma, Alabama and Arkansas in the second of the two sessions of the NCAA. The quad meeting is scheduled for a start at 5:15 p.m.

Stanford then travels to Seattle, Washington for a fight with the Huskies on Feb. 20. The meeting in Seattle is scheduled for a 2 p.m. start on the Pac-12 network.

The Cardinal’s senior-night meet hosts Olympian Jade Carey and the Oregon State Beavers at Maples Pavilion on February 24. The meeting will celebrate the elderly Jade Chrobok, Addie Stonecipherand Chloe Widner for their incredible career wearing the Stanford leotard.

Stanford ends its regular season with two road games, first playing UCLA at Pauley Hall on March 5. should start at noon on the Pac-12 network.

The Cardinal wraps up regular season action in California on Friday, March 10, taking on the Golden Bears, Ohio State and Utah State in a quadruple encounter under the lights of the Haas Pavilion. The action is scheduled to start at 7 p.m. in Berkeley.

The Pac-12 Championship is scheduled for March 18 at the Maverik Center in West Valley City, Utah. The NCAA Regional Championships are scheduled for March 29-April 1 at college sites in Denver, Colorado, Norman, Oklahoma, Los Angeles, Calif., and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, while the 2023 NCAA Championships will take place April 13-15 in inside Dickie’s Arena in Fort Worth, Texas.

The Cardinal list is made up of 11 returnees and six freshmen.

Stanford’s incoming freshman class of 2023 has been ranked No. 2 in the nation by University Gymnasium News and includes Ashley Carter, Claire Dean, Taralyn Nguyen, Anna Roberts, Ava Sorrento and Porsche Trinidad.

Returning from the Cardinal team that finished the 2022 season ranked 14th nationally, are contributors Madison BrownChrobok, Anapaula Gutierrez, Brenna Neault, Isabelle OnyshkoWidner and Amanda Zeng.
