Does Private Browser on iPhone Help Find Cheaper Flights?

Normally when I see something on social media I don’t even think about trying it because I feel like all these posts on TikTok and Instagram are just fake ads.

I’m sure you’ve noticed on TikTok that there is a hack for everything. So much so that some TikTok videos have shown how to get free gasoline by entering a code on the gas pump keypad. It sounds like a complete lie, so I definitely won’t try this one.

Another hack I have heard is looking for flights on your iPhone’s “private” browser. This hack would help you find cheaper flights. I always thought that was a lie because how can that work?

I finally gave in and tried the hack on my own. Well it looks like it really helped me save a bit. Maybe it was just luck and I stumbled across a cheap flight from Philadelphia to Los Angeles, but either way I saved over $ 100. Seriously, I did and it made my day.

I’m not saying it will work for everyone but it has worked for me.

I started researching the hack on google to see if it was really a thing that worked and it looks like there were some bloggers who liked my parade with the “private” browser hijacking.

On the Travel + Leisure site, I found an article that states that the entire Incognito aka Private Browser doesn’t really help you find free flights.

In fact, Travel + Leisure employees were able to speak to a flight search company who told them that the search for incognito flights was a false advertisement. While it was true that the private navigator helped find cheaper flights, travel agencies “would have a much harder time finding deals.”

Guess I just got lucky, but either way I’ll keep trying and see if I can find cheaper flights every time.
