London-based investment fund hooked by ‘modern’ seafood restaurant in acceleration plans
A London-based investment fund has announced that it has invested in a “modern” seafood restaurant with plans to expand and progress in the UK market.
Pario Ventures based in Berkeley Square continues to increase its investments in the hospitality sector after investing in Simply Hooked which opened in London this year.
Simply Hooked’s modern take on seafood is fresh, healthy and extremely tasty. The company is already present in Belgium and plans to launch other franchises soon.
The founders, including Noel Linehan, collectively have over 40 years of experience and have owned bars and restaurants in Belgium, New York, Ireland and London.
With strong growth and mergers and acquisitions projects, they are targeting the addition of six Simply Hooked sites as well as the acquisition of several bars.
Kevin Doyle, Co-Founder of Pario Ventures, said, “I’ve known the founders for quite some time after initially backing them on the original Simply Hooked.
“Their vast experience in this industry is unmatched and supporting them for future growth makes perfect sense to us as a company.
“The experienced entrepreneurial management team behind Simply Hooked has a proven track record of exiting and I believe they are ready to grow this business.
David Murray-Hundley, Co-Founder of Pario Ventures, commented: “I see great technology entering this industry, mostly accelerated by the events of 2020.
“It’s also a great opportunity to help and support existing businesses. I expect our hotel portfolio will also look to grow with pubs and hotels, as well as the tech element and big brands. “
