Missing in Pleasantville, NJ, man found in swamp next to strip club

PLEASANTVILLE — After an extensive search by family and law enforcement, the body of a 19-year-old man was found Tuesday morning two days after he went missing.

Irving Mayren-Guzman of Pleasantville was last seen walking early Sunday morning near the Centerfold Cabaret in the Delilah Road and Atlantic Avenue area.

The family distributed flyers in the club area on Monday while Pleasantville Police and State Police used drones, a helicopter and K9s to search for Mayren-Guzman.

Her brother, Juaquin Mayren, told New Jersey 101.5 that a relative discovered the remains were found along Delilah Road in a swampy area next to Centerfolds.

Authorities said the cause of death remains to be determined.

Pleasantville Police Captain Stacey Schlachter told Breaking AC there were no signs of trauma on Mayren-Guzman’s body.

Pleasantville police have not publicly confirmed the find.
